Welcome
I am an enthusiastic musician based in Bolton. I teach piano, flute, violin, viola and music theory to all ages and abilities.
I am now offering lessons online to help ease the current social distancing guidelines.
I have performed throughout the UK and Europe including playing the flute in the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition and the viola for HRH Queen at the Albert Hall. I have played with groups and orchestras for Radio 4 and on television. I have a 100% pass rate in ABRSM Examinations.
I love to share my passion for music. In my lessons I aim to teach all my pupils the style of music they enjoy listening to in a fun, friendly, relaxed but structured environment. I can teach pupils how to improvise, read musical notation and also go through graded exams but this not compulsory. I am happy to teach adults and children alike and can prepare students for GCSE examinations including help with composing.
